Background: Winstead was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, but moved to Sandy, Utah, when she was five. She was a dancer and singer as a child and belong to the International Children's Choir. But her height prevented her from becoming a ballerina when she was a teenager, so she turned to acting instead.

Filmography: She is best known for her role as Ramona Flowers in "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" (2010). She has also appeared in "The Ring Two" (2005), "Bobby" (2006), "Factory Girl" (2006), "Death Proof" (2007), and "Live Free or Die Hard" (2007). In 2012, she stars in "Smashed" as an alcoholic whose relationship is tested when she tries to get sober.
