Four of this year's BAFTA nominees for Best Actor are also nominees at the Oscars. The only difference is Ben Affleck ("Argo") replacing Denzel Washington ("Flight").
The BAFTAs have foreseen six of the 12 Best Actor Oscar winners -- Jamie Foxx ("Ray," 2004), Philip Seymour Hoffman ("Capote," 2005), Forest Whitaker ("The Last King of Scotland," 2006), Daniel Day-Lewis ("There Will Be Blood," 2007), Colin Firth ("The King's Speech," 2010), and Jean Dujardin ("The Artist," 2011) -- since these kudos were moved up in 2000 to take place while academy members are still voting.
