Previous winners in this category range from tabloid targets like Lindsay Lohan ("I Know Who Killed Me") and Paris Hilton ("The Hottie and the Nottie"), to singers trying their hand at acting like Mariah Carey ("Glitter"), the Spice Girls ("Spice World"), and multiple winner Madonna.
Previous winners also include respected stars falling from grace. Halle Berry won Worst Actress for "Catwoman" three years after winning the Best Actress Oscar for "Monster's Ball." And three years ago Sandra Bullock claimed Oscar and Razzie in the same year, as Best Actress in "The Blind Side" and Worst Actress in "All About Steve."
In one case, the Worst Actress winner as a man: Adam Sandler, who won last year for dressing in drag in "Jack and Jill."
Sandler has no drag roles in contention this year, but that void may be filled by Tyler Perry, playing wisecracking Aunt Madea in his latest film, "Madea's Witness Protection."
Previous Worst Actress nominees with films in the running include Kate Hudson ("A Little Bit of Heaven"), Milla Jovovich ("Resident Evil: Retribution"), Barbra Streisand ("The Guilt Trip"), and Bette Midler ("Parental Guidance").
Kristen Stewart was nominated for the last two installments of the "Twilight" franchise and could be back in the race again this year with the finale, "Breaking Dawn, Part 2."
