Jeff Wells: Oscar voters are drunk on 'King's Speech'

When Gold Derby executive editor Paul Sheehan and I hooked up with Jeffrey Wells for a video slugfest at the Hollywood Museum, the Hollywood-Elsewhere wag equated Oscar voters' love for "The King's Speech" to an alcoholic having a relapse. "It's back to the booze and slurping," he says now that voters are seemingly about to pick a "huggy bear, comfy blanket" movie for Best Picture after years of embracing hip fare like "The Hurt Locker" and "No Country for Old Men."
