10 Oscar Films Condemned by the Legion of Decency

From 1933 to 1978, the Catholic Legion of Decency warned the public against films it deemed morally offensive by issuing a condemned rating. After 1978, the National Catholic Office for Motion Pictures took over. Despite not receiving the Legion's blessing, many of these films were still embraced by Oscar (in god-less sodomite Hollywood fashion). Here's a look at some of the films that were condemned by the Legion yet commended by Oscar, including "Some Like It Hot," "Spartacus" and "Psycho."
