This year’s Legacy Award recipient is …

    DARLENE CONLEY

Conley was an actress best known for her role as Sally Spectra on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” for which she earned two Daytime Emmy nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She died in 2007.

Conley was a finalist for this award twice before, in 2007 and 2013.

This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award goes to …

    ERIKA SLEZAK

The most honored soap opera actress in history with six Daytime Emmys for Best Actress for her role as Victoria Lord on “One Life to Live,” Slezak never won a competitive Goldie Award, but she was nominated four times: Best Actress in 2003 and 2011, Individual Achievement of the Decade for 2000-2009, and she finished 3rd for Best Lead Actress of the Decade for 2000-2009.

She was a finalist for this award three times previously: 2011, 2012, and 2013. Her on-screen nemesis, Robin Strasser, won the Lifetime Achievement Award last year.

The Goldie Award goes to the cast of …

    GENERAL HOSPITAL

This is the third consecutive victory for the ensemble cast of “GH,” which makes it the most awarded program in this category, followed by “One Life to Live” with two victories.

The voting for this award wasn’t even close. “GH” won this by a mile, relative to other categories, most of which came down to just one or two votes.

The Goldie Award goes to …

This is the second consecutive Best Writing win for “Days of Our Lives.” Its head writers in 2014 were Gary Tomlin and Christopher Whitesell.

Voting in this category was a blowout. In fact, the margin of victory in this category was greater than any other Goldie race this year.
