It was announced on http://daysofourlives.com that Alison Sweeney has taped her last scenes, and will air as late as the fall. So I guess she won’t be airing into 2015 like originally it was stated.

21 years of service to the industry, playing the outrageous and amazing Sami Brady!!!! (: So many great storylines, so many memorable moments, and mostly this: that when I couldn’t stand Days for long stretches of time, it was still watchable just to see what Sami was up to! (;
She could always decide to come back to the show (unless they kill Sami off, which I don’t see happening – and even if they did, nobody stays dead anymore on daytime).
I will miss Sami; the show won’t quite be the same without her.
I also hope she submits for Emmy consideration next year, and for her Emmy reel the “fake out” reveal that E.J. has been having sex with Abigail ought to be her reel: every aspect of Sami was in that reel, it had tremendous range of every possible emotion, and she was brilliant!

Yes, I didn’t realize her last day was coming up so soon! I was definitely thinking she would be filming through the end of the year and airing halfway through next year. Not so. I’ve heard grumblings that may actually end happily for her and EJ, which would be nice and kind of feasible if they are leaving a few weeks apart.
Deidre Hall posted/tweeted a bunch of pictures from set, and it looks like Sami gets a huge send off. Wayne Northrup was there, which I don’t even know how to explain. Christie Clark and Patrick Muldoon were there as well. I guess I don’t know for sure that they’re going to be on screen, any of them, but since they were there, it makes sense that at least Carrie and Austin would put in an on screen appearance, which almost makes me happy enough to not be sad about no more Sami and EJ. Now I’m both dreading and excited for seeing the final scenes.
Also, Michael Logan has an interview with Sweeney that he is posting next week, and he says she swears she’s coming back, whatever that means.

Cast and crew members past and present — including Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman), Christie Clark (ex-Carrie) and Patrick Muldoon(ex-Austin) — surprised her during an on-set gathering to bid her farewell. “My last day was such an emotional day,” Sweeney tellsDigest. “It was so difficult and sad, but also really wonderful and special. That gathering and Ken [Corday, executive producer] talking and seeing everyone there meant so much to me, in particular that people who came so far, like Wayne, and Christie flying all the way down form Northern California, and Patrick picking her up at the airport. I was trying to wrap my head around my feelings to say something off the cuff, and I realized that there were so many personal moments in my life that they were all there to share with me, and I think that’s what I’ll treasure the most, the personal relationship that I have with the people at DAYS.” With the show’s taping schedule so far in advance, look for the actress to last air in the fall.

I really dont think Days will recover. Sweeney has done a lot for genre its shame she never received a Emmy Nod
Clarke lived in San Fran for long time her husband works in city and she is co-owner of some restuarants
