It seems that NBC’s last remaining soap is collecting former ABC starlets.  Former AMC star Chrishell Stause (ex-Amanda) has been cast on DAYS in a new role.  Stause will probably first air sometime in August and, according to the article on TVLine, will be playing a new character.

It’s interesting to me that DAYS is bringing in two supposedly new characters who basically fit the same description into the show in such a short span of time.  I’m excited to see who these girls will be playing.

I know a lot of people are less than impressed with Stause on AMC, but I’m not going to hold that against her yet.  I thought Eric Martsolf was terrible on Passions, but I’ve been pretty impressed with him as Brady.

Really? I thought Eric martsolf was a terrible actor on Passions, and I think he’s equally as bad on days of our lives, galen gerring however i think has gotten a little better since his passions days, but not ALOT better.

Eh. I don’t want to go here, but she was the same one thinking that she was going to be a STAR and that is why she went on recurring during the last year of AMC. I say do whatever, but know your limits. She will fit well on this soap and I’ll keep it at that.

I just never felt Chrishelle Stause was #1) right for the role of Amanda; which is to say that I felt she didn’t have the edge or depth of talent to convey the dark edge the character needed.  #2) I never felt she had proper writing to warrant her being on-canvas and #3) Her general attitude in interviews rubbed me the wrong way.
