I know this is a bit of a silly topic, but let’s face it, one of the most entertaining aspects of any soap opera is when two or more characters get into a massive cat-fight, or argument.    What are some of the most memorable or simply, entertaining cat-fights or confrontation scenes you recall from your years of soap watching?

    OLTL:

—Blair and Tea used to have some great one’s but clearly the best is when Blair pushed Tea out the window!

—Blair and Skye, when Skye cut off all of Blair’s hair!

—-Dorian and Viki— pretty much anytime they were in a room together… I especially loved anytime they got locked someplace together!

    AMC:

Erica and Brooke always had great one’s, i especially recall one from one of Erica’s weddings when Brooke and her got into it and Erica basically said that if it weren’t for her dumping men, Brooke would never get married.

    GH:

I used to love when Bobbie and Carly would snipe at each other… one of my favorites is when Bobbie basically called Carly a tramp and Carly’s response was something like “well you would know.”

and of course, Lucy and Kathrine Bell’s fights were always epic.

Any of the glorious confrontations on Santa Barbara.  Gina and Eden use to mix it up all of the time.

Dru telling Nate to get rid of the “Hoochie-mama” was Rowell at her best

Viki and Dorian best battle was win Dorian tells Viki about her father’s abuse. Pure magic between Strasser and Slezak.

People talk about Erica and Brooke’s many fights but I prefer Erica and Kendall going head to head.  SMG woke a coasting Lucci up and they produced some great battles

Victor and Jack on the Y&R. Great battles!!!!

WOW, if a clip from the 90’s is classic what about the stuff from the 70’s and 80’s.

The most vicious catfight I’ve seen on daytime was Doreen and Maya’s throwdown on “Generations.” Vivica Fox and Jonelle Allen really went at it on-screen.

How come the links I posted aren’t clickable? What do I have to do to get the link to be clickable?

Once you copy and pase the link, the chain symbol will become clickable. One you click on the unbroken chain, you have to C&P again and then click insert and then the link will become clickable.

    Y&R
My all-time fave has to be Katherine and Jill. I remember their conflict back in the 1970s, and how it was reheated when Dickson returned in the 80s. The conflict was taken to new heights when Jess Walton assumed the role of Jill. So many hilarious confrontations between those two. I nearly forgot about the confrontation between Dru and Nate. But it was great! They used that scene for her emmy clip that year. I also used to get a kick out of the way Victor would use full names when he was angry: “Jack Abbott, you devious man,” and “Ryan McNeil, you insolent punk” are two that I still remember.

    ATWT
I used to love when Kim would get mad at Barbara and call her “toots” in her “tough voice.” Also enjoyed her confrontations with Susan. I can still remember a scene in which she confronted Seth Snyder that eerily reminded me of a real confrontation from my own life. Barbara was also good for confrontations with many worthy adversaries over the years.

    GL
Mindy Lewis vs. Alexandra Spaulding. Soap magic! That one just felt so real. Also, Reva vs. Sonni/Solita was amazing; two great actresses tearing it up.

    OLTL
Dorian vs. Viki was classic, and that point really hit home during the New Year’s Day marathon on Soapnet. The history and detail made the conflict so complex. However, on a more whimsical note, I did get a kick out the cat fight between Blair and Adriana a few years ago.

    GH
In 1980 (or thereabouts), there was a confrontation between Lesley Webber and Monica Quartermaine. Lesley slapped Monica. That scene had a lot of impact, because it was so out of character for Lesley.

So many memorable moments. But in terms of longevity, Katherine/Jill and Dorian/Viki take the prize.

Yes, that one takes the cake! Monica definetly had it coming at that point, she tried to goat Lesley the entire time… It was a well-earned slap.
