    My dream ballot would be:

    Show-

    B&B, DAYS, GH and OLTL

    Writing-

    B&B, DAYS, GH

Lead Actress- Heather Tom,Eileen Davidson, Finola Hughes,  Maura West, Jess Walton, tho think she’s supporting and wouldn’t mind if Zucker slid in there.

Lead Actor – James Scott, Maurice Benard, Jason Thompson, Peter Bergman, Billy Miller. (think tho LeBlanc gets in in place of Thompson, tho.)

Supporting Actor – Blake Berris, Bradford Anderson. If it were just those two, I’d be satisfied.

Supporting Actress – Jane Elliot, Tracey Bregman, Melissa Claire Egan, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Cynthia Watrous.

^^  I love that you picked Amelia Heinle for the win.  Who would have ever thought the day would come when people would be advocating for that.  She’s come a long way, and as a fan from day 1, I’m so happy for her.

^^^ Thnx, gdfl! Even though there’ll always be a special place in my heart for Heather Tom who originated the character, Heinle has really grown on me and since become my favorite reincarnation of Victoria. Heinle is such a talented actress that it still baffles me she’s never once been nominated for an Emmy (hopefully, that will change come May 1st!). She so deserves to take that trophy home at the Emmys this year. This category though is such a Sophie’s Choice for me, as it was just as much a standout year for Tracey Bregman as it was for Heinle, given that Lauren was given frontburner status for a good part of last year and Bregman always delivers in her scenes. And then who can forget that breathtaking achievement by Elizabeth Hendrickson in the 10/15/13 eppy that is still so vividly etched in my mind? I’d give her the Emmy for that performance alone. Truly, if any of these amazing ladies were to walk up to the stage to accept the award come Emmy night, I’d be extremely happy.

I am hoping that Jane Elliot wins in June. If not her, Kelly Sullivan. I would be o.k. with Nancy or Kimberly winning a third Emmy, or even Lisa winning, but what I really want is for Jane to WIN! Tracey is the only acceptable Y&R actress for me – any of the other four I would be extremely disappointed. Just a different opinion, that’s all. I often disagree with the choices of the academy. On the other hand, when I agree with the choice I get really special moments (like: Francesca James winning for AMC; Maura West’s 2 Emmy wins; Stuart Damon’s win; Anne Heche, Robin Strasser, Christian LeBlanc’s first Emmy win (I had dreamed he was going to win the Emmy 6 months beforehand!), so many others! (: We’ll have to wait and see… Go, GH ladies, GO! (:

^^  My issue with NLG is that her Emmy submissions, including for her recent win, are her single good day for the whole year.  We all know that one of the short comings of the process is that judgement is on such a restricted cross-section of work, but with her I find it particularly annoying because IMO for literally every other day of the year, she is either offscreen or phoning it in.

I love me some Jane Elliot too and am so excited that she is positioned so strongly this year.  I wouldn’t mind Tracey Bregman, Amelia Heinle, Kelly Sullivan, or even Elizabeth Hendrickson winning either, but I suppose the real debate about the winners will start after the nominations next week.

I disagree with the assessment that NLG only has one good day for submission. I guess it’s the difference between the “emmy bait reel” thing and watching great consistent acting day after day, which is where I love NLG so much (and so much more than “emmy bait” queen Heather Tom). NLG is always wonderful!

I so want Jane to win that I think I would be disappointed if anyone else’s name was called (and an absolute groan if it’s anyone other than Tracey from Y&R). I would be O.K. with Kelly, Nancy or Kimberly (or even Lisa) winning but still a bit disappointed ):

I feel the same way if anyone other than Freddie or Greg wins in their categories – although I would be really happy if Eric Nelsen were to pull an upset and win for his A.J. on AMC!

While I think Billy Miller deserves to win, I would be happier if Jason or James or Roger were to win, because I prefer it when actors win who have either never won before or haven’t won in a very very long time win (Maura was an exception: she’s been nominated 7 times and I would have voted for her 6 of those times!) (:

^^  I think the way you see NLG is the way that I see Heather Tom, and vice versa.  Basically we just disagree on who is the stronger actress, which is fine of course, but honestly the Emmy bait argument applies to both and is frustrating no matter which actor is unfairly benefiting.

    Best Lead Actor:  Darnell Williams

    Best Lead Actress:  Debbi Morgan

    Best Younger Actress:  Sal Stowers

Darnell and Sal carried the Sex Trafficking Storyline from front to end.  Debbi came into the storyline more stronger later when Sal’s character Cassandra was in the hospital.  But Darnell owned the storyline entirely and Sal too.  All 3 of  them should be up on that stage receiving  their much deserved Emmy.  The Sex Trafficking storyline was the strongest and best storyline of all the Soaps IMO.

Unfortunately, Linda, none of your 3 excellent choices submitted their names for Emmy consideration, and can’t get nominated ): I agree that their work was phenomenal! (:
