This could be good. Brooks is great, Matula is great, and I hope they use this to repair the character of Hope while Steffy is not around.

B&B is brimming with casting new today!  JMW is going on break, Hunter Tylo is leaving, and Darin Brooks is coming to town!  I also think this could be really good.

I had not heard that Hunter Tylo was leaving, but no loss for me.  This show is so incredibly repetitive and boring.  zzzzzz.  Nonetheless, I am thrilled to see Brooks back on daytime.  Yummy.  There’s something about that boy.  But I digress.  I am sure he will end up the way so many other “stars” do when they join B&B.  He will have 2-3 weeks of solid airtime, then will be sidelined until this contract comes up with occasional appearances here and there.  I have been saying this for years, but if B&B wants to be a relevant American daytime soap opera, they should really consider bringing in an entirely new family just as Bill Bell did when he wrote out the Brooks clan from Y&R in the early 1980s.  You have to have some new juice to get things going and re-inventing the Spencer clan isn’t enough.
