According to the article, he will begin taping in September and first air during November sweeps. I guess he got tired of being on short-lived CW shows and decided to come home to daytime. It should be interesting. I wouldn’t have guessed Hartley for the part, but I think he could fit the bill nicely.
I’m pleasantly surprised by this casting choice. I have never found Adam to be sympathetic and attributed that partly to the harsh styles of the previous actors. I thought they’d go that direction again, but Justin Hartley is totally different and I think it could work really well.
I wish good things for actor Justin Harley. I’m a bit surprised by the career move. And this has me thinking how The Young and the Restless has been casting “names” for either key or limited roles (as series regulars or for given story arc). I question whether it is okay for the quality of the series.
This is a way to go, I guess. He was a breath of fresh air when he came on “Passions” and I have liked him in his primetime stuff.
