TV LINE (Ausiello) has confirmed that Roger Howarth has now been given a contract at GH.    DePavia remains a recurring player.

While I’m happy that a little bit of OLTL is living on, what’s the point of Starr and Todd without Blair? I hate to think that she’s back in Llanview with effing Tomas while Starr and Todd are in Port Charles.

I want to be against this so bad, but I think this regimes version of bringing in new characters, b/c they all do it, is at least w/a twist and w/ppl most of us know. But that promo w/Sonny vs. Todd made me -_- something fierce. I agree w/gdfl that Kassie’s debut has been the saving grace of all of this.

For me, the last few months of OLTL completely ruined Todd, and he’d be the last person I want to see carrying on in Port Charles.  It annoys me so much that I can’t even imagine that he’s being punished for all that crap he did because I know he’s hanging out in Port Charles plotting war with a mob boss.  Awesome.

I also agree that of all the options here, Blair is easily the character I’d most enjoy seeing more of.  I’d be all for giving these actors a new role on GH, but for some reason it really irks me that they just moved the characters over.  I had been considering picking up GH once OLTL was over, but that development completely turned me off.

My gut says that maybe Kassie DePavia doesn’t want a contract. Perhaps she doesn’t want to move to California?   Although, I agree it would be much better for Blair to stick around, Starr and Blair have this cosmic connection on-screen that cannot be explained, their scenes are magical. And frankly, any thought of Blair sticking around long-term brings to my mind the future possibility of a visit from Dorian which is all I need to tune in.

YES!  If Dorian visited Port Charles, then so would I.

I hope Anne Sweeney or whomever is running ABC now is reading this and gives DePavia a contract and makes a Dorian Lord visit to PC possible.   Can you imagine the thought of Dorian Lord angry over the death of Hope cursing out Sonny and Jason and unleashing holy hell over PC?   What if she comes to town for revenge and finds herself for the first time ever, agreeing with Todd, and hatching a revenge plot with him?   Perhaps she stays in town and eventually falls for Luke Spencer?  Maybe she crosses paths with Helena and the two constantly try to one-up each other?    Perhaps she buys General Hospital and names herself cheif of staff, and causes a rucuous when she starts firing people.     I can see all the possible scenerios and they all work!

The ensuing rivalry with Monica and tussles with Epiphany would be hilarious![/quote]

I agree. And please, Epiphany wouldn’t know what hit her when Dorian unleashed her brand of vengence. She’d be GONE.   Monica would meet her match; and I believe Dorian would teach Carly a thing or two about getting what you want.   And I particuarly think Helena and Dorian would be magical together; they are both equal parts crazy, over the top and glam!    I also think the two fighting over a guy would be epic in every way.      Also; Dorian has ties to the mob too, she was married to a Santi after all, so she and Tracey could both be involved in the mob story.    Perhaps, Dori has some of Manuel Santi’s money or property left and comes to PC with a plan to cause an upheavel in the mobster world, leveling both the Zaccarrah and Corinthos orginizations at their knees, infuriating everybody on the canvas?

Soaps work best when one character is the main villain all over the canvas.    (example:Janet on AMC, David on AMC, Dorian or Lindsay on OLTL, etc).

Although I am enjoying the OLTL crossover, I have reservations about bringing the character of Todd to GH for the long-term. The last thing GH needs is another violent, narcissistic jerk.
