If Venice were considered a Daytime Drama Series, I believe Hillary B. Smith (Guya) would have gotten several Emmy nominations for her wonderful performance. Crystal Chappell is great in the lead role as well. But how can you quanitfy online soaps as being “daytime”?
Beacon Hill is great too, with Alicia Minshew and Sarah Brown heading the cast. Ricky Paull Goldin, Ron Raines, Melissa Archer, Tina Sloan, Louise Sorel… it’s really quite good!
I haven’t seen DeVanity or the comedic soap Steamboat or Tainted Dreams; the latter I would particularly like to see.
Certain shows have soap elements but feel more like regular drama series rather than soaps (shows such as Hustling or Anacostia, which is comedic).
Has anyone seen any of the online soaps? I miss All My Children and One Life To Live on Prospect Park-The Online Network. ): It must be incredlbly expensive and hard to get the money right – I hope that online soaps thrive since regular television soaps have been dying. I think we will be down to 3 soaps fairly soon (2016 or 2017). ):
If you know of any other online soaps, let me know, o.k.?
