Where is Casey Moss? Why don’t they like him? 5 actresses were nommed from Days but no actors ):

    1. NICHOLAS BECHTEL as SPENCER CASSADINE, General Hospital

i just love this kid! Favorite episode: when Britt came to visit Spencer while he was burned and not going to the Nurses’ Ball, and then he’s “visited” by the ghost of his dead mother. But there were so many: dancing with Grandma Helena; the fire; the scenes where he is dealing with his burns… 1st nomination. Ecstatic that he’s at least nominated!

    2. BRYAN CRAIG as MORGAN CORINTHOS, General Hospital

Def. my choice for 2016 so far, Iv’e been critical of his acting choices, but I loved his work late in the year at the cabin with Kiki. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wins. Is this his 3rd nomination?

    3. PIERSON FODE as THOMAS FORRESTER, The Bold and the Beautiful

He’s developing as a really good actor. His best work has been this year but he had some good scenes last year too…. 1st nomination

    4. TEQUAN RICHMOND as T J ASHFORD, General Hospital

I suppose the material from when he learns his paternity or the mall arrest story could get him the Emmy? 2nd nomination. I like him, just felt that Casey Moss ought to be nominated instead…

    5. MAX EHRICH as FENMORE BALDWIN, The Young and the Restless

I don’t think he was on more than a dozen episodes in 2015? The separation story was probably his submission (what else could he have submitted?) It would be really disappointing if he were to win…

Tequan Richmond and Max Ehrich barely had any screen time in 2015. Pierson Fode did some nice work, but I think his best is yet to come. Bryan Craig is a strong contender, but his storylines are awful. Nicolas Bechtel also had limited screen time, but he made the most of it with powerful and engaging performances.

    2. Bryan Craig, General Hospital

    3. Pierson Fode, The Bold & the Beautiful

    4. Tequan Richmond, General Hospital

    5. Max Ehrich, The Young & the Restless

I am in full agreement with what has been said here so far.

Max Ehrich keeps getting nominated for doing nothing, which gives me the odd feeling that he could win it all.

I just have this feeling that Bryan Craig is the Joshua Morrow of this era – several nominations but no wins.

If Pierson Fode submits Thomas’ showdown with Ridge, he could upset here.

Tequan Richmond has a chance to win for his racial profiling scene.

And I’m not buying a Nicolas Bechtal win. Bryant Jones of his category.

I do think it’s a wide open race.

Pretty much this exactly.  I will add that while Tequan Richmond does have some strong material to choose from, I found TJ quite obnoxious whenever he had anything significant to do, which can’t work in his favor.

I can’t remember the last time a younger acting category was this strong. The only one I truly feel comfortable eliminating is Ehrich, a perfectly good actor who apparently never gets an episode with more than 5 minutes of screen time based on his past reels.
As much as I’d love to see Bechtel win, it looks much more likely to go to one of the adults.

    1. Fode

    2. Craig

    3. Richmond

    4. Bechtel

    5. Ehrich
