As what a background extra? That’s about all his wooden, flat and uninspired acting is good for.
Well, people have plenty of negative things to say about Moss and his acting, but for me is more a question of why is GH picking him up? Last week’s Stafford news was a huge casting coup, but this tacked onto it is starting to make GH seem like a halfway house for actors of a certain age. It’s great bringing in new talent who can enliven a show the way a lot of people feel West/Ava have, but there are also a lot of fans who are not loving the characters Cartini is creating and how they’re now taking over the show. Why keep adding wood to that fire?
Any word on who he will play?
I am also wondering how GH is affording all these new “name” actors; I can’t imagine Donna Mills, Michelle Stafford or Ronn Moss come cheap, unless they all took massive pay-cuts… I know Frank Valentini is a wiz at budgeting but it seems odd GH is able to afford all these high-profile actors… am I nuts to think this?
^^^ My sentiments exactly. Just how can GH afford to add yet another big-name star to its roster when the cast is already strained to the max with so much talent as it is? And I’m sure Moss and Stafford were offered very lucrative deal$$$ to persuade them to come on board. I hope this doesn’t mean there’s an exit on the horizon for Maura West’s Ava sometime soon, as I just can’t imagine all these high-profile actors on the canvas at the same time.
Well, looks like Ronn Moss’ big debut on the show turned out to be not much more than a one-episode guest appearance, mainly it seems for the actor to promote his new album. And here I thought he had been put on contract status with GH, lol. At least this may mean that we’re not losing Maura West from the show’s roster anytime soon… phew! Props to the show though for having kept me guessing on who Moss might’ve possibly come to play. And I loved seeing him sport his throwback-to-the-80’s look of his early days on B&B with all that longer hair!
