    1. JOHN ANISTON, Days Of Our Lives
he has never been nominated ): he has been extraordinary in 2016. I will be sho happy if he is finally nominated – and wins!

    2. CHAD DUELL, General Hospital
Grief scenes galore in 2016. Always great.

    3. JAMES REYNOLDS, Days Of Our Lives
Abe gets shot. Scenes with Theo were particularly moving.

4, WALLY KURTH, Days Of Our Lives
    Always solid.

    5. STEVE BURTON, The Young and the Restless
Good wrok around the Christian reveal. Not crazy about SB or Dylan.

    6. BRYTON JAMES, The Young and the Restless
Always solid, but so meh for me.

    7. SEAN CARRIGAN, The Young and the Restless
The Max storyline was pretty good.

    8. OBBA BABATUNDE, The Bold and the Beautiful
Julius’ love child story was somewhat compelling.

    9. DOMINIC ZAMPROGNA, General Hospital
I don’t remember anything all that compelling during 2016…

    10. JEFFREY VINCENT PARISE, General Hospital
Carrrrlos and Dr. Joe Rivera. Dull dull dull!

Jeffrey Vincent Parise is very talented, but he has left the show, and I could not stand his story nor his character (neither one, actually).

James Reynolds, Sean Carrigan, Dominic Zamprogna, and Steve Burton are solid but staid.

Wally Kurth has an inner fire that shows through in his performances. Very convincing, but not much material.

Obba Babatunde is so good. His character is very difficult to like, and he pulls it off.

Bryton James used to be staid, but he has grown quite a bit in the last two years. He has had big stories and delivers some pretty emotional performances.

Chad Duell is a prize. His material in 2016 was awful, but he always delivers, and certainly deserves better.

John Aniston turned in some strong performances, especially in early 2016. He is one of the more viable candidates.

    1. John Aniston

    2. Chad Duell

    3. Bryton James

    4. Obba Babatunde

    5. Wally Kurth

    6. Steve Burton

    7. James Reynolds

    8. Sean Carrigan

    9. Dominic Zamprogna

    10. Jeffrey Vincent Parise
