    This Buzzfeed quiz about which soap opera town you should live in was pretty fun, and it’s even more fun when you take it and try to pick all the answers that go with a particular soap.  I got B&B on my first go round, when I was trying to answer the questions accurately.

    Salem, Days of Our Lives. Being a practical sort, I would of course like to tour each town before reaching a final decision.

    I wanted Salem, Days but I got my least favorite: Port Charles, GH! ): Actually, I wouldn’t mind (if I were crazy rich) to live in the L.A. of B&B. I wouldn’t want to live in Genoa City, Wisconsin, because Scott Walker is still Governor of Wisconsin and my blood pressure would be up all the time! I wouldn’t want to live in Port Charles because of all the mob presence; of course, the first thing I would do there would be to put the town out of its misery by eliminating Sonny Corinthos! (;

    I would want to live in Salem. Yes, there is crime, and criminal element, but mostly there are some pretty good families, a nice town center (when J.J. hasn’t smashed it all up in a rage!), some hot gay guys I could catch on the rebound! (Sonny, Paul, and/or Will! Derek, too?), and nobody has to work all that hard at their jobs, taking endless breaks for their love lives and to get revenge on their rivals!

    That’s a pretty good pitch for Salem, haha!  My only hesitation is the awful midwest winters it would get.  The weather here in Jersey is bad enough as it is.

    gdfl, I wish you good luck, because I think Harmony would be the worst place to live.  A person could fall victim to a sinkhole into hell at pretty much any given moment.  You could accidentally buy a house with the dark forces living in your basement.  And Eve Russell is apparently the best doctor in town, which does not bode well.

    My first choice would have been Llanview, PA.  If only because I’d love to interact with Victoria Lord and I feel like Dorian Lord would totally take me under her wing… and frankly, I’d give anything to be in the same room with Christian Vega to stare at his beauty!

    Reading that totally made my day haha.

    I always thought Oakdale would be ideal with its mix: simple life at the Snyder farm, skinny dipping in the Snyder pond, and dealing with the various entrepreneurs (Rosanna, Barbara, Craig, Lucinda, etc).
    But on a more practical note I would choose LA because sleeping with all the Logan girls would both occupy my time and guarantee my job security.
