    Heres the deal:

This is the thread you can access anytime you want to ask your fellow posters for ideas about what shows you should binge watch next.

Maybe you’ve finished a show and want to find a similar series, or you want ideas on some show that is totally different.

Maybe you have the need for advice on a particular show?   If it is related to binge watching, you can ask it here!

    I’ll go first:

I’m almost finished watching Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom and I’m looking for a series of similar tone (tackles social issues; but not overly-preachy, not an after-school special tone).   Solid writing, etc.

My favorite shows I regularly watch are The Good Wife and Madam Secretary!

I finished “Gilmore Girls” fall of last year. Have now just started “Friday Night Lights” again. That first season is high and low in terms of content, but for the most part the lived-in performances of the ensemble is as strong as I remembered.

Thanks. I’ve tried watching that and found it a little too disturbing for. Just too emotionally draining.

I’ve thought about watching Friday Night Lights, but I’m not a big fan of sports shows so I’m not sure how enjoyable it would be.

Well, assuming someone hasn’t watched Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Office, and/or The Walking Dead, I would say sign up for Netflix streaming and watch Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Office, and/or The Walking Dead.

    I remember what I last “binge-watched”.

Downton Abbey. It made me want to watch Gosford Park again.

I guess that makes me somewhat of a freak amongst binge watchers.

Everyone should binge-watch London Spy. Don’t miss out on that one.

omg I’ve never heard of this one, and I absolutely LOVE members of this cast, who have worked together before!

Thanks for the heads up. I fear, I may not be able to get it where I am. Maybe.

Six Feet Under (Season 2 episode 3)   I am a huge fan of all 3 of those shows. I watched In Treatment back when it debuted and I loved it. saw the fantastic Josh Charles before The Good Wife wish he had an Emmy or Globe nomination. Six Feet Under I binge watched two years ago in the summer. I was thrilled loved every season. I so wish Micheal C Hall had won an EMMY in 2005 for the episode “That’s My Dog” what a brilliant and disturbing episode.
