Rockwell: Jim Casy (The Grapes of Wrath)
Cohen: Chris Keller in All My Sons OR Marlon Brando

What movie should Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling reunite for?

Why would they reunite? They’ve done 3 films together, anymore and people will think they’re fucking.

Do you know the exact number of films you’ve watched? If not, can you give an estimate?

Oh jeez, I have no idea. Guesstimating….at least 1500.

On a scale of 1-10, how satisfied are you with the Oscar winners?

    8. I was happy with the acting winners, Deakins finally getting an Oscar, Phantom Thread winning costume design, etc. but I preferred Negative Space, Dekalb Elementary and Phantom Thread’s score. TSOW was also not my first pick for Best Picture or Production Design. However Deakins’s win was enough to boost my score up by a lot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    5. The acting winners are a bummer (beyond Janney), and “Get Out” should have won BP. At least Peele won Original Screenplay and Roger Deakins finally broke his losing streak! Kimmel looked bored. Don’t invite him back to host next year. All the time spent doing useless montages could have been spent giving winners more time during their acceptance speeches. No reason to have a tribute to the military or that movie audience bit. If we had to have montages like always, then the fans thanks one sufficed. I did like getting all the acting clips!

I’ll get back to many more Oscars questions shortly, but first, describe your first reactions to this pic:

6, not enough surprises but I’m really glad TSOW won, and that Call Me by Your Name and Blade Runner got something.
