Yes. The only thing.
Three least favorite Golden Globes wins/moments last night?pacinofanParticipantJoined:Nov 28th, 2011Topics:6Posts:3848January 9, 2017 at 7:41 am #1201983670
Viola’s intro to Meryl Streep was pretty self serving and annoying.
Tom Hiddleston’s win and being allowed to prattle on for five minutes while everyone else had thirty seconds.
As much as I love “La La Land” it did not need to win best screenplay.

1. Tom Hiddleston’s self-aggrandizing acceptance speech that kept others later on from finishing their speeches
2. Fallon’s opening monologue/teleprompter glitch and acting like he’s never done live television before
3. Barry Jenkins losing out on director and screenplay to the record-breaking “La La Land” sweep

On a scale of 1-10, how good were the Golden Globes?SashaParticipantJoined:Nov 24th, 2013Topics:15Posts:2592January 9, 2017 at 8:40 am #1201983709
Do you think actors like Cameron Diaz are envy of those who get nominated or win Oscars? Or they are just happy with their 8-figure paychecks? I know that people like Mo’Nique would give away their Oscars in a heartbeat to have a movie star career and especially the money.January 9, 2017 at 10:17 am #1201983770
That’s an impossible question to answer, as it really depends on the individual. In general, Oscar nominees and winners are filthy rich so they have no reason to envy anybody’s paycheck.
How much attention do you pay to meeting the beauty standards prevalent in today’s society?

Question 1: Since a lot of Oscar winners are also big movie stars (Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Jennifer Lawrence, etc) I don’t think they are jealous of a Cameron Diaz. Also at this point in her career Diaz is no Jennifer Lawrence in terms of star power.
Maybe people like Mira Sorvino or Catherine Zeta Jones who won Oscars and then fell off the grid would be jealous of a working movie star like Cameron Diaz.
Question 2: I may go on a diet but I generally don’t care about beauty standards.
Do you think Mahershala Ali will ever be a best actor nominee?January 9, 2017 at 10:41 am #1201983796
I hope so – but considering how white Hollywood continues to be, I’m not holding my breath.

Not much. I stay in good shape, but I do that more for health reasons than for beauty standards.
What was the best part of your weekend?January 9, 2017 at 12:07 pm #1201983854
Spending all of Sunday with my niece and nephew.
Do you tend to easily fit into different social groups, or are you more of a loner / misfit?
