My Parents for always supporting me and believing in me; my older brother for being my closest support system and my best friend for always being there for me.
Which once prominent actress or actor from the 1970’s, 1980’s or 1990’s who has experienced a career slump or has not worked much would you like to see work more often in film?January 10, 2017 at 3:11 pm #1201985031
Kathleen Turner! I think she’s doing steady television and theater work, but I’d like to see her in one last great film role.

Do Farrah Fawcett deserve any Emmy? (she has 4 noms.)ziggyParticipantJoined:Nov 29th, 2013Topics:0Posts:573January 11, 2017 at 8:24 am #1201985496
I haven’t seen any of her tv performances so I can’t really answer the question, but I will say as a general statement that a star of her iconic stature would certainly have deserved an Emmy.
When it comes to romantic and/or sexual attraction, do you have a “type”? If so, what is “your type”?January 11, 2017 at 9:45 am #1201985557
I remember how many said at the time of Farrah Fawcett’s death how great she was in “Extremities.” The Emmys didn’t ever really take her seriously, but at least the Globes nominated her more.
Don’t have a “type.”

I have a feeling it might actually not get a single nod, but cinematography may still be within its reach.
Which Oscar-nominated thespian (of any era) are you absolutely infatuated with and why?January 11, 2017 at 12:30 pm #1201985650
I have always been obsessed with Humphrey Bogart. His look. His style. His voice. The fiery eyes. The way he smokes a cigarette even though in real life I think cigarettes are gross. The fact that he can do so much without much obvious effort. He is to my mind the greatest of all movie stars.
Will “Jackie” be nominated for any Oscars besides best actress? If so, in what categories?January 11, 2017 at 1:15 pm #1201985688
Costumes and maybe that crazy score. BP seems unattainable now and just about everything else. Larraín might have been my NGNG DGA bid, but not anymore.

I feel good about costumes and score. I feel production design has decent odds. Would like to see it in cinematography but not sure after the ASC results today.
What Oscar nominations will “Hidden Figures” receive?GusCruzParticipantJoined:Feb 26th, 2012Topics:43Posts:11203January 11, 2017 at 2:38 pm #1201985740
I haven’t decided, but I can see myself predicting it for: Picture, Supporting Actress, Screenplay, Original Score, Original Song.
What are your DGA predictions?clay bryceParticipantJoined:Jan 5th, 2015Topics:4Posts:226January 11, 2017 at 3:11 pm #1201985776
