People magazine just declared Oscar winning Gwyneth Paltrow the most beautiful woman of the year? Um- since when? Love the girl, but she’s had her time. Couldn’t they have voted for someone more…now? Of all the women they picked, how did she manage to get to the top of the list? What PR Rep made this happen? Anyone have any insight? It just seems sort of random. She’s so – 1998, you know what I mean?

She just got voted most hated celebrity as well, so its all PR. Plus she has Iron Man out and been promoting her ridiculous book so it figures.April 24, 2013 at 5:19 pm #448593
Actually, since People’s list for men is tend to be topped by someone in their late 30s or 40s, it’s refreshing to see that the readers went with someone in her 40s on the women’s side as well. Other than that I honestly could care less.
EDIT: Scratch that, I just checked and this list apparently had previous recent winners like Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lopez who were well into their 40s as well by the time they won this “prize”. Again, that just shows how much I care about this.April 24, 2013 at 5:42 pm #448594

LOL thanks Ms. Pook. But yes this is why I don’t follow People Magazine. Everyone knows the Divine Ms. Streep is the fairest of them all, and always will be till the day she dies. 🙂April 24, 2013 at 5:48 pm #448595
For me, until the day she dies, it has to be Charlize Theron. I think Gwyneth is pretty, but I would have voted maaaaaaaany others before her. Top of my list, besides Theron, would be Natalie Portman. Both are just flawless.April 24, 2013 at 6:13 pm #448596
Seriously, what a joke. Right little emoticons?.
Gwenyth PaltrowApril 24, 2013 at 6:18 pm #448597
Jennifer Lawrence or Kerry Washington should have won. This reminds me of when Entertainment Weekly named Ben Affleck “entertainer of the year.” LOLApril 24, 2013 at 6:25 pm #448599
I thought it was going to be Jennifer Lawrence or (and its just my opinion) Lea MicheleMarcus Snowden (The Artist Formerly Known as msnowden1)ParticipantApril 24, 2013 at 6:39 pm #448601
