Actresses Jodie Foster wed girlfriend Alexandra Hedison over the weekend.
Jodie Foster has said “I do” to girlfriend Alexandra Hedison.
The 51-year-old actress and the photographer exchanged vows in a ceremony over the weekend, a rep for Foster confirmed to E! News Wednesday.
Rumors swirled that the couple were officially an item when they were spotted out and about together last summer.
“It’s pretty serious,” E! reported at the time. “They’re totally in love.”
Foster divulged details of her personal life in public for the first
time while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at
the Golden Globes in 2013.

Award during the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton
Hotel in January 2013.
“This is not going to be a big coming out speech tonight because I
already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the stone
in those very quaint days when a fragile girl would open up to trusted
friends and family and co-workers, and then gradually, proudly to
everyone who knew her,” she told the audience during her speech.
Foster was previously in a 20-year relationship with ex-partner Cydney Bernard.
The pair called it quits in 2008, but continue to co-parent their two sons, Charles and Kit.
Hedison dated comedian Ellen DeGeneres for three years before the
daytime host reportedly left her for now-wife Portia De Rossi in 2004.
May your days be filled with happiness and the road always rising to the best life has to offer.
Congrats! You have to appreciate how she just does what she wants and is truely one of a kind in Hollywood.
