List the films you like, but everyone else dislikes. Or the films you dislike, but everyone else likes.

I disliked Captain America, The Emperor’s New Groove and The Princess Bride.

I liked Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, Spider-Man 3, The Karate Kid (the new one) and The Cat in the Hat (well, I actually still dislike Cat in the Hat, it’s just more of my guilty pleasure, I guess.)

I honestly almost fell asleep during Despicable Me even though people absolutely love that movie. And while I admit it does have it’s merits, I also almost fell asleep to Network I was so unbelievably bored

And no matter how many people on these threads call it sappy and melodramatic and cheesy and over the top or whatever, I love Forrest Gump I think it’s a great movie.

I also loved Crash, really liked Argo, Shakespeare in Love (i know the second two aren’t as much hated as dissaproved of) and yes, I vastly preferred Rocky to Network.

It’s also been YEARS since I saw it but I actually remember really enjoying From Justing to Kelly…

I don’t understand the hype that surrounds Anchorman… Will Ferrel is Will Ferrel, but beyond that I just can’t find much else that is good about the movie.

Okay, I absolutely LOVED The Blind Side. It is still one of my most favorite movies of all times!

    PUNS!

    Fan of:

    Crash
Walk The Line (and Reese Witherspoon)
    King Kong (Peter Jackson)
Shakespeare In Love (and Gwyneth Paltrow)
Proof (w/ Paltrow, who I thought was fantastic)
    The Fountain
White Chicks (my guiltiest of guilty pleasures, but I don’t care, it’s hilarious to me)
    Cloud Atlas

    Not a Huge Fan of:

Step Brothers (so many of my friends love this, but I borderline hate it)
    The Other Guys (see above)
The King’s Speech (I liked it, but subsequent viewings get worse and worse)
Wreck-It Ralph (it’s cute, but nothing more to me. If I were 8, I’m sure I’d adore it)

Oh, I appreciate a good pun.

And i’m with you on ‘The Other Guys’. I liked the first 30 minutes or so too… Dwayne Johnson’s final scene did make me laugh out loud.
