This is something special that I don’t think anyone else is doing. The nominations awards, as I call them, are awards that I make up. The nominations will come from the films nominated for the many various critics awards in many different cities, excluding the final Oscar nominations. I will calculate all the nominees up and the five highest voters will get nominations (or ten for Best Picture)

Included are BAFTA, Central Ohio, Chicago, Critic’s Choice, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Georgia, Golden Globes, Houston, Indiana, Online, Phoenix, St. Louis, SAG, San Diego, Satellite, Washington D.C. I chose these ones because they are the awards that give out nominations as opposed to just giving out the winners. The runners-up for Awards that only release winners, but not the winners themselves, will also be included.

Independent and foreign film awards do not count (except for BAFTA).

Do they give out nominations first then winners, or just winners? If they do, they are more than welcome.

Just an idea, maybe include the runners up of those groups who don’t give out nominees and count them as if they were…

BAFTA seems somewhat anomalous, although I’m not blind to it’s significance. So. why not Cesar, Cannes, Vienna, AFI,and Genies?

Those foreign awards are just weird to me. I don’t want too many inclusions.

I also think those foreign inclusions will not stand a chance at the other awards because most of them honor simply American releases and don’t celebrate the more foreign releases. I don’t mean to make anyone’s tongues bleed from my inclusions/exclusions, but I just think that those films wouldn’t stand a chance (but you never know, maybe I’ll change them and put them in there).
