I’m reading “Truly Madly Guily” by Liane Moriarty and so far I’m really struggling to see why so many people told me “I had to read it”, and “It’s so good”.It is quick moving I’ll give the book that though.

its ok …. i did it on audio book and it moved a bit more quickly but it wasnt anything crazy spectacular.

Getting back into this again. Starting “The Underground Railroad” by Colson Whitehead over the holiday weekend. Very excited!

Started Y is for Yesterday by Sue Grafton last weekend. About halfway through now and it’s fascinating how she’s playing with time shifts and viewpoints in this one. I’ll be very sad to see Kinsey Millhone come to an end with the next novel. (Though Grafton has hinted there’s a possibility she’ll do some stand-alone things beyond Z is for Zero.)

I’m up to chapter 55 right now but I have to admit I may have judged it a bit too harshly at first. Hate Hate Hate Erika and Clementine but I think Sam isn’t really as much as a fleshed out character as them. Oliver is semi-interesting. But Tiffany and Vid. They are absolutely my favorites so far. Could have lived without the hoarding stuff entirely though.

Yeah but at least they had some redeemable qualities. Erika just comes across as a know it all monster with issues because of her mother and her issue. I feel bad for Clementine though after the big twist of what happens at the BBQ.

I kinda wish that she would have done all the BBQ chapters right from the start. Those are the ones I am drawn to the most

Idk if you have read it before but “The Handmaid’s Tale” is a quick read (since you are going to not want to stop once you start…or at least in my case I finished in 2 days).
