I wore the spine and cover off the version I bought 12 years ago so imagine my genuine pleasure when I came home today and I had waiting for me an almost new copy of this essential book that I got from a secondhand source! All I can say is please do an update if you can good sir! This book is a treasure!

I would like to see a written history of 2003 to 2014. All written histories have been dropped! Inside Oscar wasnt taken over by anyone so that ended at 2000. Googling is not the same and wiki has all the awards but not narrative connecting it all.

    Oh goodness yes!

I work in a bookstore, and I just had a look to see if The Movie Awards is still available. Sadly, it is out of print it seems, and I would absolutely adore to read about who were the favorites to win, and how races shaped up.

One of these days we’ll get it updated. The GOOD news is that Gold Derby has just been acquired by the company that owns Variety, which published my old books.

^^Awesome! Not for nothing, I appreciate you’re busy and books like that take a LOT of time and research. I was just hoping it was in the cards one day.

Yeah an update is necessary. I guess it is good news that Penske bought GoldDerby, maybe something can come out of it when it comes to the books.

I’ve had those books forever, since 2000 I think, Emmys, Grammys and two Movie Awards since I bought the updated version too…Very fun reads, I know I read those more than once…The first Movie Awards actually broke in half because of how big it was and how many times I read it…
