Wow, surprisingly, I’m not alone in eliminating Birdman from the top films of 2014!

^Yet, Inarritu was still their 5th choice for Best Director, over directors who had films in their Top 10 like Damien Chazelle (Whiplash), David Fincher (Gone Girl), Paul Thomas Anderson (Inherent Vice), etc… Odd.

So for the person that gave me one star for the birdman comment, to clarify and it may not help any, but I didnt really like Birdman, so it’s not in my top 10 favorites for this year. I understand lots of people love this movie but to me it felt like Broadway Theater propaganda and NYC pubublicity machine at it’s best. Not really what I look for when going to the movies.

And yes, Tye-Grr, that is odd.
