Once again, the choices are horrendous. And I’m sure the eventual winners will be even worse.

What is the eligibiity period for this cause I don’t see Twilight anywhere.

Surprised by some of the choices- Midnight in Paris, The Help, Drive. The eventual winners won’t be that horrendous cause most of the winners will be from Harry Potter

Gyllenhaal for “Source Code”?? Why? Because he managed to stay perfectly still during that last, upper torso shot?
Kung Fu Panda 2 is the highest grossing film directed by a woman. I may actually root for that film,

Ok who was more annoying in their respective films? Julia Roberts, or Rachel McAdams?
Action Movie Star? “Best Body” is more like it.
Wow, “Red Riding Hood” is up there. That is the only film I’ve given an F rating this year.

Hmm, I see some Razzie contenders listed above. January Jones, SJP, Interesting.

Nobody is sweeter than Ana Farris, so I’ll root for her to take Comedy Actress.

Well, I maintain that these awards are both fun and a necessity. What a snapshot of the times.

That alone is reason for celebration 🙂

Woahh. Seriously? First the Scream Awards snubbing Twilight, and now this. Love it!

^It’s not a snubbing, it’s just that there was a large gap between films and so they missed the eligibility period. I fully expect the last two ‘Twilight’ films to continue their reign once they’re released.

I love how they made a new category, “Favorite Movie Icon”, yet Meryl Streep didn’t even make the Top 10! How the hell does that happen??????

It is great that Twilight won’t be winning this again, but it’s way too obvious that Harry Potter will be.  I’m also disappointed that Super 8 didn’t get in for Favorite Movie.

Also I will definitely be voting for Brad Pitt for Favorite Movie Actor.  The nomination is obviously for Moneyball, but it would be awesome if they put The Tree of Life as part of his clip package for the nominees montage.

What is the eligibility period for this?  There are no late 2011 releases in there, yet December 22, 2010 release True Grit that grossed $171 million in the US and $251 million worldwide is also nowhere to be found.

TV shows that have ended their runs are ineligible.

Julianne Hough, a Movie Icon?  She’s not even a singing icon, a dancing icon, or an icon of any sort, in either our universe or Fringe’s

Maybe they decided the Coens going 0-for-the-Oscars, getting a director nod that should’ve went to Nolan, among other things, that TG wasn’t a good fit for the PCA.
