Right now I’d say the Ensemble award is all sewn up by the cast of “The Help”… The question is can any other cast steal it away?
Here’s my predix for that category as it thing currently stand…

    The Help (winner)
    The Ides of March
    J Edgar
    Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
    War Horse

    in contention:
Rampart, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, The Descendants, My Week with Marilyn, The Artist, Midnight in Paris, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Midnight in Paris get the Ensemble nod – there is a wealth of talent in that cast: Oscar winners Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, and Marion Cotillard; plus Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen, Alison Pill, Nina Arianda, Tom Hiddleston… I’m not predicting it yet, but I could get there if it looks like Midnight is going to hit this awards season. Actors do love Woody Allen (EVERYONE wants to work with him, even if his recent projects have missed more than they hit), so if this one still has enough heat in December it could definitely happen.
