Wait, The Heat is rated R, I bet a lot of parents will be pissed! Wait, that was a typo, she got nominated for Gravity.

You know they should really be picking more respected choices instead of ones with the biggest box office. What is this, box office mojo awards? The fact that 12 Years a Slave and The Wolf of Wall Street (amongst others) have been overlooked is irritating. I’m certain there’ll be a forthcoming Reuters poll that will explain why 2/3 of audiences don’t like these movies, and it will show how much of a joke this is.

This is the KCAs, not the Oscars. Why would children vote for a movie about a slave. There would have been controversy. I bet no kid would vote for the Wolf of Wall Street though it is a great movie.

Lol, seriously, I don’t know what some people here expected. This is an award that’s voted by kids under the age of 13. They might have put one too many PG-13 movies in the line-up already.

I assume that studios buy these “nominations” and “awards,” right?

KID VOTERS REVEAL THEIR PICKS IN SECRET, BEFORE THE WINNERS ANNOUNCED:

    VOTER 1 (age 8)-

Movie: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

    Reason: “hehahahaha heeeeee!!!”

Actor: Johnny Depp, The Lone Ranger

    Reason: “Hahee….it was cool- hahe…”

Actress: Jayma Mays, The Smurfs 2

Reason: “I like circling names hahaheee”

Very telling. I think this will give us a clue as to what to expect for the winners. Campaigns should start, and Etchie and me are already working on getting Meryl Streep the necessary write-in vote for the lead actress race. To help solidify her post-Oscar chances for August: Osage County.

Indeed. Any actor willing to get slimed should attend.
