    Truman was the big winner of the night, winning 5 of it’s 6 nominations; The Bride had the most nominations – 12 – but only received 2 Goyas. Natalia de Molina received her 2nd Goya at only 25 years of age, winning Best Actress over Juliette Binoche, Penelope Cruz and the favorite to win Inma Cuesta. None of the THREE female directors nominated won, not even in the writing categories ): (I was rooting for The Bride but I do enjoy Cesc Gay’s movies). 

    Here are the the list of winners for their achievements in Spanish cinema during 2015:

    Best Diretor: Cesc Gay, Truman
    Best Actor: Ricardo Darin, Truman
    Best Actress: Natalia de Molina, Techo y comida
    Best Supporting Actor: Javier Camara, Truman
    Best Supporting Actress: Luisa Gavasa, The Bride
    Best Male New Actor: Miguel Herran, A cambio de nada
    Best Female New Actress: Irene Escolar, Un otono sin Berlin
    Best Original Screenplay: Cesc Gay and Tomas Aragay, Truman
    Best Adapted Screenplay: Fernando Leon de Aranoa, A Pefect Day
    Best Spanish Language Foreign Film: The Clan (Argentina)
    Best European Film: Mustang (France, Turkey, Germany)
    Best New Director: Daniel Guzman, A cambio de nada
    Best Animated Film: Capture the Flag
    Best Cinematography: Miguel Angel Amoedo, The Bride
    Best Editing: Jorge Coira, Retribution
    Best Art Direction: Anton Laguna, Palm Trees In The Snow
    Best Production Supervision: Andres Santana and Marta Miro, Nobody Wants the Night
    Best Sound: David Machado, Jaime Fernandez and Nacho Arenas, Retribution
    Best Special Effects: Lluis Castells and Lluis Rivera, Anacleto agente secreto
    Best Costume Design: Clara Bilbao, Nobody Wants the Night
    Best Makeup and Hairstyles: Pablo Perona, Paco Rodriguez and Sylvie Imbert, Nobody Wants the Night
    Best Original Score: Lucas Vidal, Nobody Wants The Night
    Best Original Song: Lucas Vidal and Pablo Alboran, “Palmeres en la nieve” from Palm Trees In The Snow
