Agreed. I love their use of clips. Here’s the video from last year’s ceremony — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzSGZAOd1Ao

Sad to hear that Jan Hooks passed away ): I loved her on Designing Women

Am I correct that they repeat the broadcast of the SAG awards immediately after the initial broadcast? I’ve been invited out earlier in the evening and am likely to make it home around 9:15ish…

Robin Williams was so incredible they may as well dedicate the entire in Memoriam segment to him.   http://cdn01.cdnwp.celebuzz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/11/robin-williams-gifs-08082014-06.gif

Read a tweet that Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Viola Davis will be seated together in one table.

During the meeting, Julia Roberts‘ and Meryl Streep‘s names are brought together; they both appeared in 2013’s August: Osage County. Likewise, there’s a (2008) Doubtreunion between Streep and Viola Davis. This creates a power women-themed Table 8, along with Jennifer Aniston, who will be bringing her fiancé, Justin Theroux.

Pretty much all of the individual nominees are expected, but it does seem like the following are not…

FILM: Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Rosamund Pike

TV: Peter Dinklage, Woody Harrelson, Kevin Spacey, Maggie Smith, Ellen Burstyn
