The list above is surely incomplete because that is how the Satellites roll. It is also in a random order and the Wonder Woman score is listed twice because, again, that is how the Satellites roll.

I don’t see why they list it 3 times, or heck if they love it enough to find it lazy typo-worthy than why not make the Wonder Woman score all the nominees?

The worst part about the Satellite Film Awards is we know they will nominate movies they for sure have not even seen if it means a better score PREDICTING THE OSCARS. http://uproxx.com/hitfix/international-press-academy-does-not-see-wolf-of-wall-street-nominates-it-for-five-satellite-awards-anyway/ 🙁

Bizarre: they nominate (correctly) Sean Baker for Best Director and as co-writer for Best Original Screenplay, but they don’t nominate The Florida Project for Best Motion Picture? Nuts!

I am happy to see Emma Stone on the list for her Billie Jean King. I am truly puzzled she isn’t a frontrunner for the Oscar.

No nomination for Timothee Chalamet ):

Glad to see Holly Hunter, Melissa Leo and Lois Smith in the Supporting Actress category (: Willem Dafoe and Armie Hammer in Supporting Actor (:

Two female nominees in Best Director, Gerwig and Rees – will either of them get an Oscar nomination?

I love six of the Best Motion Picture nominees (The Big Sick, Call Me…, God’s Own Country (very surprised by this one), I, Tonya, Lady Bird, Mudbound); enjoyed Dunkirk, haven’t seen Get Out and Shape of Water yet.

I really hope BPM wins tons of Foreign Language Film awards and esp. the Oscar (:

It looks like Lois Smith could be a legitimate contender for a nomination. She has been getting in at almost every early group so far.

No Timothee, no Sufjan, no The Post? (Maybe they didn’t see The Post in time?)

Also, it looks increasingly like A-Ham is the supporting actor nominee from CBMYN and M-Stu will be snubbed.

There’s no way they’ve actually seen Phantom Thread, no? Wasn’t there a controversy over them nominating WOWS without having seen it a few years ago?

Sorry, but who is voting for these???

Firstly, yes, yes, yes for the love for The Leftovers, Carrie Coon and Christopher Eccleston!!!

Secondly, what the hell??? Where is Timothee Chamalet and Daniel Kaluuya??? Where is Luca Guadagnino and “Mystery of Love” from Sufjan Stevens? No Cinematography for Mudbound or any love for that movie (Mitchell, Hedland, Morgan)???
