    Anticlimactic much?

I don’t know about you but I don’t know many associations that would nominated “Troll Hunter” for anything. I didn’t even know such a film existed.

Seriously, there is no point in trying to upstage the Oscars.

Not even by nominating TROLL HUNTER. Or DRIVE–for BP!  Or Kristen Wiig instead of Viola Davis for Best Actress!  In fact, Ms Davis is no where to be seen, not even in Supporting, which is probably where she should have been nominated.

The only thing we can do is wait for the Razzies.  Didn’t Sandra Bullock win one the same year she won the Oscar?

The group tried to finish the pickings this year before the Oscars, but different time constraints as we are all from different time zones prevented us from doing so.

Nevertheless, better late than never. 😉

It’s possible that you may like Troll Hunter. It was made on the cheap, for around 3.5 million, and remids me of the tone and ambience of Blairwitch and similar.
Worth a watch, imo. They borrowed the score from Edward Grieg
    . Very fitting.

Thank you everyone for your comments.  I’m fairly happy with what we came up with.
We have had our winners for over a week now, but I think we are all waiting for Babypook to post them.

Interesting list of winners and RU’s. We’re notorious ‘system’ players, ever since we were stung by Irrfan Khan back in 2007.

Thanks y’all for your indulgence. We had lots of fun with these, as always.

All the HP love, and the great set of acting winners makes this a solid year for the FKs.

Yeah, once again I’m really pleased with our winners this year. I still remember the great TKS vs. TSN stand-off within our group last year that Black Swan ended up being our default winner, the film we all loved. Looking forward to next year’s FKs
