    Marlon Brando hands down should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Apocalypse Now. In my opinion, his performance in that film is hands down the greatest performance ever to not get an Oscar nomination. If he had been nominated, I think he would have easily won his third Oscar.

    Marlon Brando hands down should have been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Apocalypse Now. In my opinion, his performance in that film is hands down the greatest performance ever to not get an Oscar nomination. If he had been nominated, I think he would have easily won his third Oscar.

    Considering the Academy’s aversion to the Coppola film, color me skeptical.

    Oh please, the Academy worshipped Brando and nominated him two more times after he refused to accept his Oscar for The Godfather. And Apocalypse Now did win 2 Oscars for its cinematography and sound.
