The last poll was won by Anette Benning by only one vote. I hope this one will be as close!

Easily Steinfeld, my favorite part of this film and my personal Supporting Actress pick in 2011. It’s really a shame she hasn’t got too many projects since that have lived up to this.

I actually will go will Matt Damon. I think this is one of his best movie performances and really deserved a nomination. I would have added Barry Pepper to this list too. He was amazing too. I loved Haliee and Josh too. I thought Bridges was ok but he was too hard to understand for most of the movie

LOL. Steinfeld. She should have been nominated for Best Actress.

Steinfeld obviously. I hate category frauds but I’m glad she got some recognition. She was truly remarkable in that role.

Really liked her in Begin Again too btw.

Steinfeld was amazing, though I also could have easily went with Bridges.

Steinfeld. What a terrific debut performance (and one that she has yet to match, though I have no doubt that she’s capable). She is absolutely THE lead, but as someone above mentioned I am glad she got recognition even if it was blatant category fraud. I love the 5 actual nominees that year (Portman, Bening, Williams, Lawrence, and Kidman), and I’m not even sure if I’d have had Steinfeld in my personal top 5, but even if not she would’ve surely been #6. Regardless, she’s easily the best in show and outshines each of her co-stars.

Such a tough choice. Bridges, Steinfeld, and Damon were incredible. Damon is insanely underrated as an Oscar-caliber actor. He always turns in stellar performances.
