I think all 3 are terrific, but I’ll go with Mulligan. There’s a quiet dignity to her performace, and in the later scenes she had to be the strong one who keeps her emotions in check, but you always see them just simmering beneath the surface. Garfield is an extremely close second. His emotional explosion makes me cry every time I see it. I’m tearing up just thinking about it.

A barely remember a damn thing about this movie. I guess I’ll go with Knightley since I kinda recall Mulligan and Garfield contributing to the overall soporific nature of the film.

The movie is a little slow and boring but the performances really did it for me for this movie. Garfield is one of my favortie actors and he really shined in this. Both the ladies were great too but I voted for Garfield

This was not a good movie. Garfield was ok and Mulligan had her moments. On the other hand, Keira Knightley stunk.

I didn’t read the book, so probably that’s why I didn’t buy the movie, but I agree the acting was really good. I voted for Mulligan, because not only she was great in the part, but also keeps doing interesting things. But Garfield was amazing too. Thank God those Spider-Man movies undermerformed in box office, ‘cos IMO he needs to make more movies like NLMG.

Congrats Keira Knightley on her 2nd place. I think she’s pretty underrated overall, and although I don’t think she deserved an Oscar nomination for “Never Let Me Go”, she was amazing in this film.
