I’m guessing that JGL wins this poll just based on image and perception, since sometimes, Franco doesnt do himself many favours in this area.

Also he has an impressive run of good choices and diverse roles. Even with the somehow failure of ‘Don Jon’, as a filmmaker also beats James. And what I think is most definitive, his career and filmography is ascending, while Franco’s going down.

Given the title, I vote based on the filmography, but everyone seems to get it wrong and vote based on acting.
Maybe change the title of the thread? or people should be more objective…Best filmography: JG-L by far

Best actor: Franco can be really good, but ogten takes on awful roles and phones it in, or worse. JGL is much more consistent, even if he hasn´t given an oscar worthy performance yet. Just give him time…January 19, 2015 at 3:59 pm #174205Well, it has many shades. A filmography is made better by a ‘better’ actor. Imagine Paris Hilton playing Tilda’s part in Snowpiercer, or Megan Fox headlining Still Alice. Whose filmography shall we choose here?
I’d say that human nature generally votes for the person overall. Even if there are ‘rules’, our votes are going to be subjective.
