What are some actors who made 2 or more bad movies in 1 year, yet didn’t end up getting a Razzie nomination? There’s a couple I can think of.

    1997
Robin Williams – Fathers’ Day and Flubber

    1999
Claire Danes – Brokedown Palace and The Mod Squad
Liam Neeson – The Haunting and Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (both Worst Picture nominees, yet surprisingly no nod for him!)
Giovanni Ribisi – The Mod Squad and The Other Sister

    2000
Freddie Prinze, Jr. – Boys and Girls and Down to You
Winona Ryder – Autumn in New York and Lost Souls (she did get a Worst Screen Couple nomination with Richard Gere for the former film)

    2001
Martin Lawrence – Black Knight and What’s the Worst That Could Happen?
Freddie Prinze, Jr. – Head Over Heels and Summer Catch

    2002
Stephen Dorff – Deuces Wild and Feardotcom

    2003
Martin Lawrence – Bad Boys II and National Security

    2005
Jennifer Aniston – Derailed and Rumor Has It

    2006
Kristin Davis – Deck the Halls and The Shaggy Dog
Robin Williams – Man of the Year and RV

    2008
Adam Sandler – Bedtime Stories and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan

    2009
Gerard Butler – Gamer, Law Abiding Citizen and The Ugly Truth

    2010
Katherine Heigl – Killers and Life as We Know It

    2011
Robert De Niro – Killer Elite and New Year’s Eve
Kevin James – The Dilemma and Zookeeper
Alex Pettyfer – Beastly and I Am Number Four
Ryan Reynolds – The Change-Up and Green Lantern

    2012
Kate Beckinsale – Total Recall and Underworld: Awakening
Edward Burns – Alex Cross and Man on a Ledge
Dennis Quaid – Playing for Keeps, What to Expect When You’re Expecting and The Words
Uma Thurman – Bel Ami and Playing for Keeps
Catherine Zeta-Jones – Lay the Favorite and Playing for Keeps

    2013
Gemma Arterton – Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and Runner Runner
Robert De Niro – The Big Wedding, The Family and Grudge Match
Josh Duhamel – Movie 43 and Safe Haven
Amber Heard – Machete Kills and Paranoia
Bruce Willis – G.I. Joe: Retaliation, A Good Day to Die Hard and Red 2

Well, I dont mean to debate how horrible these films are or the actors in them but I dont believe they all deserve to be up there.

As marginally surprised as I was, Ashton Kutcher is good in Killers, and not because he’s opposite Heigl.

Killer Elite is not anywhere near a bad film and De Niro is really good here. Machete Kills may not be as good as the first esp in terms of accessibility, but Amber Heard wasnt going to be nommed for this.

But some of these films and perfs are some of the worst films I’ve seen in a long while. I’m really surprised that Adam Sandler was snubbed for Zohan, but the film received some kind reviews from notable critics. Uh-huh.

And nobody is Razzie-worthy in Red 2.

Not much else I want to say but, it’s an eye-opening topic. Lol.

@teleflick: Agreed on Worthington in Wrath of the Titans but I oddly liked Man on a Ledge.

Meryl Streep needed a worst supporting actress nomination for Evening, Rendition, and Lions for lambs.

I like U Turn. It’s a messy, chaotic, but unpredictable film that kept my attention to the end.
