Hi, this is my first thread and I wanna ask you all about the comparison of classic and modern actor based on their respective movie career. Which one of them had the similarities if we look into their respective film resume?

    So any example?

Just a few I could think of:

    Cary Grant and Ryan Gosling
    Humphrey Bogart and Denzel Washington
    Jack Lemmon and Steve Carrell
    Kirk Douglas and Leonardo DiCaprio
Bing Crosby and Will Smith (Ok am going to explain this one: Both can effortlessly do drama and comedy but both have a similar way of balancing both in the filmography)
    Frank Sinatra and Bradley Cooper
    Spencer Tracy and Jack Nicholson
    Walter Brennan and Christoph Waltz

    Jack Lemmon and Steve Carrell

    Spot on!

I’d also compare James Stewart and Tom Hanks as the ever-likable, empathetic everyman.
