Both were submitted, and both were screened to BAFTA Awards Committee Members, the same as all other awards contenders. As is the requirement for all films that are released after the deadline date in the UK. That’s how Lincoln and Django Unchained made it into the nominees last year.
The studio tells us that it was eligible but not many people had actually seen it.
