These are the last four*** categories without threads dedicated to them,
so here they are all together!  The nominations from each of their
guilds are not coming out for two more weeks, which is no help, as Oscar
    nominations are revealed in one.

    So, the big questions:

    • Can Skyfall actually get nominated?
    • Will Lincoln rack up a slew of undeserved nominations in a sweep?
    • Which of The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises will come out on top?
    • Can Zero Dark Thirty win all four?
    • Is Django Unchained a last-minute key player?
    • Will Roger Deakins lose again?
    • Will Les Miserables get nomianted for all four and induce widespread groans?
    • Pixar has historically done very well in sound, so are we underestimating Brave?
    • Are we underestimating The Bourne Legacy?
    • Snow White and the Huntsman keeps making shortlists; could it get a random sound nomination?

*** Costume Design does not actually have a thread either, but it seemed out of place here.  Sorry!

Well, who can tell with Oscar, but Skyfall, has a much-acclaimed, genius Sound Editing team. I think it may get a nomination.

Wally Pfister had won once… you could say that for Deakins or the guys from Skyfall… they are losing year after year…
I will say Les Mis will got at least 3 of them

Skyfall and Life of Pi do very well here….as does Django

Right, I meant Roger Deakins.  Will edit original post.

Those were announced early (January 19th last year).

Now, keep in mind that CAS only matched Oscar two for five last year.

No Argo, ZD30, Master, or Django. But the visually ugly Anna Karenina makes it. rme.
