Jessica Chastain comes out with at least a couple movies a year, giving us something to always look forward to. But I ask you guys, which performance in her never-ending filmography is your favorite? For me, it’s her career-best work as Maya in Zero Dark Thirty. But how about you folks?

Not a huge fan of her. The Help is her best performance to date.

She was my personal winner for both The Help and Zero Dark Thirty. I also would have nominated her for Eleanor Rigby and Interstellar.

She is knockout brilliant in Zero Dark Thirty though, and she showed clearly how she is no supporting female. Chastain should be the top billed lead in every film she does from now on!

Tough call between her deliciously overcooked comedy turn in The Help and the subtle, unassuming, disarming portrayal in Zero Dark Thirty. I went with The Help but ask me again tomorrow. She is an amazingly versatile thespian.

Don’t understand all the buzz around her. She’s fine, but has only been great in Eleanor Rigby so far.

I found her captivating in “The Tree of Life.” She is, however, quite overrated IMO.

One of the best actresses working today. She’s never given a bad performance as far as I’m concerned.

Overrated? What buzz? She has built a whole film career in five years – she has no enough awards and buzz for that, while people like Lupita Nyongo, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Hudson has Oscars. What are you guys talking about?

Not saying undeservingly, but she is also one of those faces that Holywood started to keep casting and casting in recent years. She has two Oscar nominations, one of them being in lead. An honor that thousands of actressess couldn’t and wouldn’t even dream of in their whole lives so I’d say she is in a position that could be considered overrated by many.(Just like all the other Oscar nominees in the history)There will always be bad examples lile Jennifer Hudson or Gwy Paltrow. But show must go on. Oscars are still a big event.

She’s very athletic in The Debt, which I appreciate. I liked her in Tree of Life, but my favorite is her work in Jolene, before few knew who she was….the way I feel about Andrew Garfield and Tom Hardy. I also like her work in Lawless.

Well, she has pretty much worked for her success & fans and built a respectable film career in a few years. That’s something, people can call her overrated, but once again, she’s not the one with the Oscar under her belt.
