I saw Game Night today and loved it. I laughed throughout the movie. I thought it was well paced and the acting was top notch. It was cheesy in parts, but still a great comedy.

Will Rachel McAdams be this years Haddish in regards to comedic performance getting awards buzz? I haven’t seen it yet but I’ve heard buzz for her

She’ll get a Critics Choice nom and maybe a Globe nod, if the box office holds like I think it will.

But hopefully she’ll get more leading roles and comedic ones, and it’ll be a career resurgence for her.

If anything, Jesse Plemons is the push.

He is so good in this movie. Everyone at Goldderby should see this movie, not only is it really funny, but a great time.

More roles for Sharon Horgan, love her and Catastrophe.

I think this film will be long forgotten by the time the Globes come around. Plus, it’s becoming more rare for actual comedies to make it into the category with “comedic” Oscar-fare sneaking into the category.

Regardless, I found the film entertaining and was happy to see Lamar Bishop (any New Girl fans??) in the film. He, along with McAdams and Plemmons, were the standouts for me.
