The Golden Globes film nominations predictions center event is now open.

A lot of the category placements, especially comedy/musical, are still being debated and decided, so we are taking out best educated guesses at this moment. When we hear of conflicting information, we will change genres for some of these films and performers.

I can’t even believe I’m agreeing with this. She is not happening and every year pundits try to make her happen because of their love affair with her. And I just looked at some of the predictions from users and they look a little scary.

Something tells me that BATTLE OF THE SEXES will be Drama. All of the reviews I’ve read seem to give off a vibe similar to HIDDEN FIGURES.

The trailer for LAST FLAG FLYING hardly says “comedy” to me, but we shall see…

she got nominated for movies that didn’t end up leading to Oscar noms like A Most violent Year and Miss Sloane and even won a GG before, even if she doesn’t make it to the Oscars she can still make it in the globes as a filler or whatever lol.

Why is Suburbicon a Drama but Victoria and Abdul a Comedy?

Yep it’s out December 22nd but that didn’t stop them giving nominations to Fences and Hidden Figures last year or The Revenant the year before.

They’ll send screeners for sure. I won’t be surprised if they do AFI as well.

Will Golden Globes snub Gary Oldman because of his past remarks about them, or maybe just nominate but not reward him? Could that open the door to Timothée winning?
