Hmmm…could be near impossible but here we go:

<1920 Monkeyshines. Studied it, but havent seen it, I dont think. Pick a version. Any version.
1930   All Quiet on the Western Front
    1940   The Grapes of Wrath
    ’50’s    On the Waterfront
    ’60’s    Bonnie and Clyde
    ’70’s    Days of Heaven
    ’80’s    Blade Runner
    ’90’s    The Crying Game
    ’20’s    Avatar

If I do this in an hour all of my choices could be different. Quite a few FLF which are worthy of mentions too.

1930s- Gone with the Wind 1940s- Casablanca 1950s- A Streetcar Name Desire 1960s- Bonnie and Clyde 1970s- The Godfather (for me this was the hardest decade to choose. But I decided on The Godfather because it’s so iconic. I easily could’ve gone with Annie Hall or Network though) 1980s- Star Wars: Episode V 1990s- Pulp Fiction 2000s- No Country for Old Men 2010s- Inception

This is near impossible but I will attempt it.

    1920s: Sunrise
1930s: The Wizard of Oz (I also considered CITY LIGHTS)
    1940s: Casablanca
1950s: Some Like it Hot (I also considered Vertigo)
1960s: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (I also considered Psycho, 2001, The Producers, The Graduate…and I am sure there are others)
1970s: Annie Hall (several here as well)
1980s: Amadeus (several here as well)
    1990s: Pulp Fiction
2000s: Almost Famous (this one was hard because no film I found to be completely overwhelmingly classic like other decades but this was my most enjoyable film from that decade).
