The Wrap reports that a Hillary Clinton biopic is now in production.

Who do you think should star?

Call me crazy, but I think it should be Amy Poehler. Parks and Rec probably won’t last much longer, and with Steve Carell appearing in an upcoming biopic, as well as Bradley Cooper breaking through at the Oscars, the time is ripe for comedic starts to show off their acting chops.

Hmm…as much as I love Amy Poehler, I can’t see her as Hilary Clinton. She looks and sounds too….”happy”, if that makes any sense.

I’d say…Elizabeth Olsen, or even Jessica Chastain.

The movie is about Hillary in her 20s. Jessica Chastain is the best actress of her generation. She would be great.

    Elizabeth Olsen.

This is inspired casting.  I can totally see this.

I’d also throw in Amy Adams.  She has that look.

It is because the film covers Clinton’s youth and present-day activity that I think Poehler would be a phenomenal choice. She has a look that, with some make-up, can be made to appear younger and older than she is.

Bening is another good choice, though I think she may range on too old.

Elizabeth Olsen — yes! Look at the resemblance:

Plus you know the girl can act.

I’d pictured it but I hadn’t looked up any pictures for comparison.  That is insane.

    *snort*

Kate Winslet is less than two years older than Jessica Chastain. And, no offense, but Kate Winslet is unquestionably and undoubtedly the best actress of her generation. I think people tend to assume Kate Winslet is far older than she actually is because she has a timeless quality to her and because her achievements are fairly insane for someone only in her 30s. She is only 37 right now.
