    Only two other films have achieved 14 Oscar nominations and both of those (All About Eve, Titanic) won Picture and Director.
    Is La La Land winning 11? Is it winning 7? Or just 3? What are your predicted La La Land wins? (Name every category you’re predicting for La La Land to win)

    I am predicting 8 Oscar wins for La La Land (Picture, Director, Original Screenplay (hoping Manchester by the Sea wins, but the Birdman win from two years ago makes me think it will go to LLL), Cinematography, Film Editing, Sound Mixing, Score and Song. I am predicting Isabelle Huppert will win by a vote or two over Emma Stone; how much of it is that i simply want Isabelle to win so badly I refuse to switch my prediction…. I would forgive them some of their terrible obnoxious choices this year if Isabelle wins! (;

    I have a theory that iF Barry Jenkins wins Director of the Year! Damien Chazelle will go on to win original Screenplay along with Best Picture (like Tom McCarthy did last year) and La La Land could be the next Shakespeare in Love by Winning Actress and other tech categories like Score and Production Design.

    How many threads do we need asking the same questions over and over again?

    I think “LaLa Land” will win 9:
    Picture
    Director
    Actress
    Editing
    Cinematography
    Production Design
    Score
    Song (“City of Stars”)
    Sound Mixing

    All but Actor, Sound Editing and Costume (I want LLL to win this one so bad just to tie the record as the most win by a single picture)

    I am predicting 12. I only have it losing for Ryan Gosling and to itself in Original Song. It probably won’t win them all but it could and if not I’m not sure what it will lose. Don’t tell me Sound Editing unless you also want to commit to it losing Sound Mixing because there’s very little chance those categories will split with La La Land nominated in both.

    The sound categories trick me. They don’t split it between two movies that are nominated in both categories – the only exception was SM/TDK. Therefore, I do see them going full force with LLL, but Hacksaw Ridge makes much more sense.

    For now, I also have LLL taking 12.

    Right now, my hunch is 10. It misses in Lead Actor, Original Song and Sound Editing.
